Disclaimer
Effective date: October 26, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to the Kansas Ultrarunning Historical Foundation and its related websites, including KansasUltrarunningHistory.org, KansasUltraRaces.com, KansasUltraRunners.com, and any companion domains that redirect to or support those sites.
Historical and Informational Content
The Foundation websites are historical, educational, archival, and informational resources. We work to preserve and present information accurately, but historical records may contain errors, omissions, conflicting accounts, incomplete results, changed names, duplicate identities, uncertain provenance, or information that is later corrected or clarified.
No Official Certification
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information displayed by the Foundation is not an official certification of a race result, record, ranking, identity, course status, event status, organization status, or historical claim. When formal verification is required, users should consult the relevant race organization, timing provider, governing body, original document, or other primary source.
Runner, Race, Organization, and Performance Records
Runner profiles, race histories, race-edition results, organization records, totals, summaries, and related database information reflect the Foundation’s documented record at the time displayed. Records may be merged, separated, corrected, annotated, excluded, or otherwise revised when better evidence becomes available.
Public Beta and Downloadable Publications
The websites are offered in public beta. Features and historical records may change as testing, research, and corrections continue. Public access does not imply that the archive is complete or free of errors. Downloaded e-books, manuals, and other publications reflect their edition or the information available when prepared; consult the live archive and current Manual & Methodology for later corrections and controlling standards.
Email Reports
Email reports generated from Foundation runner, race, race-edition, or organization pages are provided as a convenience and reflect the information available in the Foundation database when the report is generated. Email delivery is not guaranteed, verification links may expire, and a report should not be treated as an official certification or permanent archival copy. Live website records may later change as corrections or additional evidence are incorporated.
Submissions, Corrections, and Historical Materials
The Foundation accepts documented submissions, corrections, historical materials, and related inquiries through its published submission process. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, publication, correction, research, response, attribution, or preservation in any particular form. The Foundation may evaluate, verify, edit, annotate, merge, reject, retain, publish, or remove material consistent with its archival mission, published standards, and available evidence.
Third-Party Information
The Foundation may reference, summarize, link to, or incorporate information from third-party sources. Those sources remain responsible for their own content. The Foundation does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, legality, or continued accessibility of third-party information.
External Links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience, research, source attribution, or historical context. The Foundation is not responsible for the content, security, products, services, policies, or privacy practices of external websites.
No Professional Advice
Nothing on the Foundation websites constitutes legal, medical, financial, safety, training, or other professional advice. Ultrarunning and endurance activities involve inherent risks, and individuals are responsible for their own decisions, preparation, participation, and safety.
Use at Your Own Risk
Your use of the Foundation websites, reports, submissions system, and reliance on their content is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation disclaims liability arising from errors, omissions, unavailable content, delayed or failed email delivery, third-party material, or decisions made based on information presented through the Foundation websites.
